National Plan of Energy Efficiency Action 2017-2020 | Idae

The National Energy Efficiency Plan 2017-2020, submitted to Brussels in April, meets the requirement of article 24.2 of Directive 2012/27/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2012 on energy efficiency, which requires all Member States of the European Union to submit such plans, the first of which was to be submitted by 30 April 2014 and then every three years.

This Plan, which follows on from the National Energy Efficiency Plan 2014-2020, is a central tool of energy policy, the implementation of which is making it possible to achieve the energy saving and efficiency objectives derived from Directive 2012/27/EU.
