European Directives

They are legal documents drawn up by the Council of the European Commission, which guide the way in which legislation is drawn up in each Member State so that it is uniform throughout the European Union. In themselves, they do not require compliance with their content, but they do require their inclusion within the legislative system of each of the Member States, with a maximum period of 2 years.
